Brooklyn Fire Proof manages over 160,000 square feet of creative spaces in industrial Bushwick/East Williamsburg, Brooklyn. BFP strives to maintain a kind, creative environment meant to inspire and promote the artistic and professional endeavors of makers, micro-manufacturers, and entrepreneurs. Our tenants include painters, sculptors, illustrators & graphic designers, small businesses & distributors, music producers, and more.
All our workspaces are located in quiet, secure 24-hour-access non-residential buildings (management on-site during business hours) and feature eco-friendly heating, high original tin ceilings, wood floors, large windows with great natural light. Each floor has freight elevator access during business hours and bathrooms at either end of the hall. Studio sizes range from 300 to 2,000 sq ft. BFP is conveniently located off the Morgan L stop in the midst of all the galleries, restaurants, coffee shops and grocery stores that booming Bushwick has to offer.
Our hub-building at 119 Ingraham St. also includes two white box gallery spaces on the ground floor called Temporary Storage that are rentable by the week (available to tenants at a serious discount) and the cafe/bar Terra Firma, with a beautiful outdoor area for warm-weather. Brooklyn Fire Proof Stages, our sound stages/studios for photography, film & television, are directly across the street. BFP Stages has recently started programming and hosting free-to-the-public outdoor and indoor film screening events. BFP also manages workspaces on the second floor of 56 Bogart and at 503-511 Johnson Ave. Renting a studio from Brooklyn Fire Proof means being part of a larger community of makers, but the spaces are private enough for when you want to work alone.
